When it comes to painting the effects of outdoor light, there are some key factors that come into play when trying to create the illusion of sunlight. I have produced a new DVD which focuses on how the four principles of Drawing, Value, Color and Edges work together in order to create the illusion of outdoor light. Great painters of the past such as Joaquin Sorolla, Frank Benson and John Singer Sargent all understood the importance of each of these principles and were able to adjust them according to different lighting situations.

You, too, can learn how to work within a limited value range, incorporate warm and cool temperature changes in order to create the illusion of form outdoors, key your painting higher or lower in value and much more in this instructional course. For more information about this DVD visit the store section of my website or click here.
